WESCO Change Management Manager in Glenview, Illinois

As the Change Management Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading organizational change initiatives at Wesco. You will be responsible for leading a team of Change Management professionals while also strategizing, analyzing, designing, and implementing enterprise change initiatives. Your initiatives will improve business processes, systems, and technology across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and lead comprehensive change management strategies to support the adoption of new technologies, systems, and processes across the organization with the support of team members.

  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and align key stakeholders to support change initiatives.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that change management activities are aligned with project objectives, internal change team goals, and company vision.

  • Envision, create, and maintain enterprise change champion networks that empower resources to support and facilitate change in their work areas, allowing for increased adoption, sustainability, and success of change initiatives.

  • Lead and implement communication and training efforts to enhance understanding and engagement among employees at all levels.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives by managing complex change dashboards to provide reports and feedback to senior leadership.

  • Serve as a change advocate, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and adaptation within the organization.

  • Establish goals, monitor performance, coach, guide, mentor, and offer feedback for direct reports and junior change management members on your project teams.

  • Develop key relationships and knowledge of specific areas of the business to foster change management initiatives and growth in that area.

  • Contribute to the growth of the change management practice by improving internal processes, developing new collateral, and maintaining an up to date understanding of emerging change principles and ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree – Organizational Psychology, Business, Finance, Communications, Human Resources, or related discipline

  • Licenses/Certificates/Designations – Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Certified Change Management Professional preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in change management, organizational development, behavioral science, or a related field

  • Ability to lead change management teams through complex change initiatives in a large, distributed organization

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex issues into clear and actionable plans

  • Ability to present to all layers of an organization, especially senior management and executive leadership

  • Proficiency in change management methodologies and tools (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Process)

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment and collaborate with teams across different geographical locations

  • Strong background in mentorship

  • High-level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite, especially SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • 5 years of experience in a related industry like IT, finance, supply chain, or logistics preferred

  • 2 years of direct line management experience in change management preferred

  • Working knowledge of Miro, Jira, and Monday.com preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 25%
