Outside Sales Representative – Construction and Industrial Division
Anixter is looking for an Outside Sales Representative, that will be focused on developing new business within an assigned territory, as well as retaining and developing business with existing customers. This position is part of our Construction and Industrial business unit. The product line represents the broadest offering of electrical and electronic wire & cable in the world. This position is focused on strategic selling and representing our distribution capabilities and supply chain services.

-In this role you will initiate, establish, and build strong customer relationships, retention and loyalty of our Contractors, Integrators, EPCs and Industrial End-users.
-Serve a variety of markets including Oil & Gas, Utilities, WWTP and Industrial Manufacturing by suggesting and delivering the right product solutions to meet customer needs.
-Product focus will be Industrial Power, Control & Instrumentation cables. Including, Industrial Communication and Control along with affiliated Support & Supply products.
-Actively engage Anixter colleagues and resources regularly to provide a complete customer solution in order to capitalize on opportunities.
-Work effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
-Requires regional travel up to 25% overnight.
