CREDITSHARED SERVICES COORDINATOR
Anixter is seeking a Credit
Shared Services Coordinator for the New Accounts team within the Credit Shared
Services Group in Glenview.
About the role
The New Accounts group is
responsible for reviewing incoming credit applications, activating new customer
accounts, and providing additional support to the North America Credit teams as
needed. The team opens all new customer
accounts, working in a collaborative team environment.
· Reviewing documents
received from potential new customers.
· Performing credit
review, fraud screening, and account setups.
· Processing bank
authorizations and bank references as needed.
· Making informed
credit decisions to support the business, in accordance with Anixter Credit authorization
· Entering activated accounts
and supporting credit file documentation in Global Credit library.
· Working closely with
US Sales reps and regional Credit teams.
· Must be
detailed-oriented and well organized, with a proficient knowledge of Microsoft
· Ideal candidate is a
dependable self-starter with a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
· A quick-learner with
the initiative and confidence to investigate, problem solve, and make informed
decisions, in a timely and efficient manner.
· Excellent customer
service skills, with strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
· Must be comfortable
working in a fast-paced environment, and maintain focus and accuracy while
addressing multiple priorities.
· Business background –
either college business degree of commensurate experience
