Anixter is

seeking an Inventory Management Technical Planner to support the

Electrical and Electronics Solutions(“EES”) business globally. The

primary responsibility of this position is to execute and maintain a category

within the global inventory planning systems and provide actionable analytics

and reporting.

The successful

candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • An Inventory Management TechnicalPlanner is responsible for demand planning based on a pre-definedcategory, ensuring that Anixter receives the inventory needed quickly,efficiently, and within budget.

  • Obtain, analyze and interpretsupply chain relevant data. Generate, overview and review StatisticalForecast.

  • Use analysis results to improvesupply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs.

  • Perform analyses with this datausing analytical models and mathematical analysis.

Education &Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher inbusiness administration, computer science, or a certification in operatoror vendor management, such as the APICS Certified in Production andInventory Management(CPIM) or the APICS Certified Supply ChainProfessional(CSCP), required

  • Five years of experience workingin the planning and inventory solutions in a whole sale environment with ahigh growth wholesaler, required

  • Extensive knowledge of SupplyChain processes, such as Sales and Operations Planning, MRP, Forecasting,Demand and Supply Planning, Indirect Procurement, Materials Management andLogistics.

  • Use of various software andcomputer applications, such as Oracle, SAP, SAS, APO and Microsoft Officeprograms, required

  • Excellent communication skills,including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable andcredible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

  • A flexible, dynamic,self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself andothers; easily accepts constructive input from others.
