Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting

Great opportunity exists for a highly-driven

individual to join our Corporate Accounting group. This individual will be part of the team responsible

for ensuring our financial statements are reported accurately in accordance

with US GAAP. The team responsibilities

include: global financial statement consolidation, corporate business segment financial

statement management, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, press

release schedule preparation, and internal departmental reporting. Candidate

must exhibit extremely strong communication and interpersonal skills to support

and interact with corporate and global management teams in a fast paced and

dynamic environment.

Major Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Assisting in the monthly close process, financialplanning and analysis, investor relations and internal and external reporting

  • Support the worldwide consolidation and translationof over 200 reporting locations.

  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement trends

  • Assist with automation of internal reports

  • Analyze and account for foreign exchangetransactions working with international accounting groups and assisttreasury with reporting and understanding multi-currency exposure

  • Maintain corporate ledgers providing monthlyaccount analysis, including significant and complex rollforwards

  • Assist with monthly estimates, quarterlyforecasting cycles and annual budgeting process

  • Prepare various financial analyses and governmentreports, as necessary

  • Responsible for ensuring departmental costs areproperly planned and accounted for

  • Assist corporate functional departments withaccounting, planning and forecasting respective costs on a monthly basis

Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years senior accountant/analystexperience

  • Experience in both public accounting and corporateaccounting a plus

  • Strong desire for career progression and appetiteto absorb ever-increasing responsibilities

  • CPA/CFA preferred

  • Strong MS Office with advanced Excel skills.PeopleSoft/Oracle, Hyperion EssbaseSmartview and Wdesk experience a plus

  • Must be well- organized, self-motivated , and capableof working well independently and in a team environment
