Position Profile:

Anixter

is seeking a supply chain analyst to join our Electrical & Electronic

Solutions Inventory Management Group in Glenview, IL. We are searching for an

individual with a positive attitude and exceptional time management skills to

join our team. The successful candidate will play an active part in the set up

and maintenance of new and existing stocking programs and consignments. An

ideal candidate will be able to use systems to develop business goals in

alignment with contractual agreements as well as provide great internal support

for our sales team. Individuals with strong negotiation skills and the ability

to develop creative solutions to problems should apply.

As a supply chain analyst, you will

have the opportunity to be responsible for ensuring adequate inventory levels

for customer stocking programs, managing the movement of goods between

distribution centers, and supporting the needs of the sales representatives

within your designated accounts.

Additional responsibilities and

duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinationacross multiple business units in order to onboard and maintain customerinventory requirements based on min/max levels as agreed upon between Anixterand our customers.This includes thehandling and validation of all post- installation change management documentsthrough the program’s termination.

  • Managingthe order lifecycle for all consignment transactions.This includes order entry, tracking, virtualreceipt for future billing, receiving discrepancy due to vendor error orfreight claim and virtual billing for consumed material.

  • Generateand present profit analysis reporting potential losses and reoccurring concernsto Anixter sales reps. and sales location managers during periodic businessreviews.In addition provide correctiveactions based on best business practices.

  • Generateand validate weekly inventory status reports for stocking programs andcustomers.These reports will be distributed to sales and analysts will be expectedto expedite and escalate with vendors in order to avoid service failures forour program customers.

  • Workwith sales, accounts payable, operations, product management, finance andproject management to solve issues and improve our quality policy

Requirements:

  • Service-orientedindividual that possess strong interpersonal skills.

  • Abilityto quickly learn key systems, efficiently multi-task, resolve problems in atimely manner, and adapt to new technologies are musts.

  • Possessexcellent communicational(verbal & written) and organizational skills.

  • Highattention to detail with the ability analyze discrepancies and providesolutions.

  • Collegedegree in a related field and/or 2-5 years working in a supply chain role

  • Previousexperience with consignments or customer centered account management ispreferred.
