Job Description

We’re looking for a well-rounded supervisor for our Reno Distribution Facility. The warehouse is 250,000-sf and primarily supports our west coast business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain, create and track Anixter Inventory Accuracy and Quality Procedures

  • Maintain, Quality Tracking spreadsheets

  • Review and follow up on customer issues

  • Ensure standard operating procedures(SOPs) are compliant in all areas

  • Review and validate Daily Cost and Quantity Adjustments

  • Maintain audit reporting and ensure facility meets Random Audit totals

  • Review and post Inventory Control Metrics

  • Follow up on reoccurring inventory issues

  • Maintain and manage scrap inventory

  • Employee staffing and scheduling, training, tracking and maximizing operating efficiency of packing/shipping process, payroll time reporting, safety, OSHA and all regulatory compliance, etc.

  • Security of building and equipment

We are looking for someone with experience and abilities in the following:

  • Excellent problem solving and analytics skills

  • ISO 9000/9001 experience

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, minimum 1 year experience of supervisory experience is a must

  • Excellent computer skills and aptitude

  • Must be absolutely committed to follow through on service commitments

  • Self-directed, motivated and goal oriented

  • Skilled at managing time and priorities

  • Able to build a strong, cohesive team and provide leadership with the highest integrity

  • Ethical, professional behavior and demeanor

  • Quick learner, thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Desire to make a difference, ability to implement change and manage expectations

  • Degree in business or related field a definite plus

The ideal candidate will be able to work Monday-Friday from 9:30am to roughly 6:30pm.
